We don’t know the circumstances behind the dumping of sweet Polly but now she needs our help. She was so incredibly sweet to me, and another volunteer who met her. She’s a senior and heartworm positive but in the right home, she’ll be just fine. Please consider Polly, seniors are the best and she has great shelter notes! Please be aware that all euth dogs need a hold by 1PM. If you want to help, please be proactive do not wait! If you’re interested in a pet and live out of state, I encourage you to reach out to your local rescues to see if they pull from Texas shelters. I receive the euthanasia list from the shelter between 1–3PM, and the deadline to save the listed dogs is 1PM the following day.
