@artemisvandevi: 🩶This silver streak the widow’s peak and witches from my family burned at the stake Ive been sitting it bed with my coursework and I just had to stop for a second because this is literally the conversation. What my grandfather left in my eternally messy hair is the same thing I’m trying to bring back into the rooms where healing happens. Our lineage, constitution and that which lives in the bones are past life selves… Encoded! The way sensitivity and intensity runs through a bloodline like a river that doesn’t know how it’s “supposed to be” it just is. In the medical model, clinicians work inside a governing body. They’re not allowed to relate. Not allowed to share. Not allowed to bring the fullness of what they intuitively know into the room , even when every part of them is sensing that something more is needed. And what those same systems have never quite said out loud is that the people most likely to struggle with addiction, mental health, and with feeling like they don’t belong are not living in ordinary reality! In every indigenous and ancient culture on earth, those were the ones living with highly perceptive gifts! Insights. The visionaries. The medicine people. The sensitives tuned to something most people couldn’t hear. We’ve been treating that as a disorder ever since. I’m doing something that feels ancient and on the precipice of something very new… By bridging the gap of understanding of the ancestral, the somatic, the earth medicine, the lineage, into the conversations and the felt experiences alongside the clinical in order to blend the best of both worlds into one complete supportive, intuitively, guided, science backed way of exploring the spiritual human experience The silver streak stays and does everything it came from. 🖤 #addiction #MentalHealth #Ancestors #bipolar #visionary ❤️‍🩹
