the reason it blew sand into the pool was because you were supposed to back wash it for 2-3 mins on its first start up then rinse for 1 min then you could put it on filter mode

Someone said they put half sand and cotton balls in theirs to rid of tiny debris in the pool ! Genius

We literally, like as we speak, just put this exact pump on. We've wasted so much time with the pump that came with it. This is clearing our 14ftx4ft pool quickly. I got the 16 in and it's so strong it's sucking the pipes in from the skimmer. Enough said, get the vevor pump!

Yeah, they deliberately sell them with pumps that are too small so that eventually you either have to buy a new pool because your pool gets so gross that you don’t wanna touch it or you figure it out and you upgrade your pump and filter system.

For the love of god put sand in it instead! The Cotten balls are terrible and backwashing does NOT clean them like it does with sand!
