I'm pretty sure it's because post time skip,they got costumes that can collapse at anytime for example when izuku first got it from all might, it went from a suit case to a glove, then it collapsed and turned back into a suit case. I'm pretty sure momo can just collapse any piece of her suit to get the space she need to create something, then have it go right back into place😶😶
