I just did upper body exercises with 8kg dumbbells for the first time as an 18 years old boy and now here I'm sick for 3 days still feeling soreness and pain in my muscles( it relieved a lot but the pain and soreness was immense the following day after my workout). I've been in bed all time but hope to start workout again and not give up. So, what you wanna recommend me in such case? should I start with lighter dumbbells (4kgs) and decrease intensity of workout? Please guide me and give me some suggestions.
