as a fellow brown recluse keeper I will have to say she is absolutely correct I have had my brown recluse for about a year now and I'm more scared of my Carpenter and colony than I am of her I've been bitten by my carpenter ants way more time than I've been bitten by any of my spiders that I keep I've been bitten once by my spider and that's because she climbed up my tongs when I was feeding her and she thought I was food
