This situation made me so upset. I live in that neighborhood and drove by there when it happened just before the shots rang out! That child should not have had access to a gun period. My kids have been around guns their entire lives...all guns are locked up and all of them were trained in gun safety super young! They are 1000% aware that you NEVER point a gun at anyone and if you do...you may die. Period! Anyone who has a problem with what the police did...grow up. If you shoot at police...they shoot back and have better aim. I still cry at the loss of life and drive out and around to avoid the park that my children grew up playing at. This kid was heading down a horrible path of crime against my community and tried to take the life of an officer who keeps my kids safe...I'm all for this officer defending our community.
