Insurance isn’t the scam. The hospital is the scam, charging 20x more just because you have insurance, and they know they’ll get paid. That’s the scam. That’s why your insurance costs 3k per month. The hospital is to blame.

I have saved $150,000 in seven years after dropping health insurance and switching to health sharing. Not only is it waaaaaaay cheaper, but you pay cash prices and can see any dr and go to any hospital!

I quit going to doctors 3 1/2 years ago. I’m 68 years old and I’m on no medication. I worked very hard to use natural remedies for healing and I’m careful about organic foods. I’m not saying I will never go to a doctor, but I’m trying to avoid them.

Until people stop using insurance this will not change. Fear keeps people paying more. Our family pays cash and it is the most cost effective approach. We don't live in fear of what could happen.

Yep, just had 3 PT sessions and got a huge bill. Insurance didn’t cover a dime of it because I haven’t met my deductible. I owe almost $800, but cash pay would have been $100 per session, could have saved $500.

I canceled my insurance and went direct primary care where I pay the doctor I choose 100each month unlimited visits and I have doctors cell number. ahe gets me labs and stuff so cheap at cash pay
