I didn’t understand why I felt sad/regretful after getting my puppy, or why I didn’t feel that “love connection” towards her. I was relieved when I found out puppy blues were a real thing, never in the process of getting her did I think that was a thing🤍

I cried for like 4 days straight after getting my puppy. Mostly because I was so worried about him being ok but also the slight regret I felt. The anxiety was killing me. When I found out puppy blues was a real thing it made so much sense and made me feel heard and not alone which helped

we’re on our fourth day. I’m autistic so I find change extra hard. I went the first 2 days crying and feeling guilt and even resentment. We’ve already bonded now and it is becoming so much easier. Just imagine where we’ll be in a months time.

This post will be so helpful to many people. 3 days into getting our puppy…and it was back to waking up every hour during the night. Couldn’t just leave during the day to meet friends for lunch or go shopping. I definitely had the puppy blues. It was like having another baby. I was devastated and didn’t think I’d want to keep her!! It got so much easier as time went on…and we love her so much. We don’t even remember what life was like before her.

i just got a second corgi puppy and he is a EARLY bird! he wakes up in the crack of dawn (4am) and its alot! in the end its so worth it ❤️. for those who are stressed out in the puppy stage, i promise you its really not forever.
