We decided to take a break from the relationship, I'm gonna stay w fam in another state, and it's just because he feels bad, I told him I forgive him, I told him I love him, I told him that we can move past it but he hates himself for what he did and he wants to heal and I have to respect that. We agreed to stay in contact and everything because we want to be together but it's gonna take time. It took me a moment to realize he's right, he made an incredibly uncharacteristic decision/mistake and he's grieving that too. We love each other and we want to be together but we also want to move forward, I just pray we can because he is everything to me.

what about the patterned cheater. the one who cheats, says it was emotional so it didnt count, does it again but you kick him to the curb. he meets someone new a few years later and cheats on her....like should she be understanding and know hes "hurting" or maybe hes just an @$$

I get it when he says he needs to feel loved by me too. It’s just not easy. I’m all over the place emotionally. At the moment it feels like a demand, that makes me shut even more down. 😞

So true. I’m hurting twice as much, I’m hurt but also feel the pain he’s feeling because I love him and he’s constantly beating himself up for hurting me. We’re healing together though .
