Anytime anyone recommends someplace they have been, I immediately go to Google Maps and add it. I've been doing this for years and it's so nice when it comes to traveling or being in a different part of town that I normally don't go to. I even have one I created for playgrounds and parks and it's so incredibly handy for when I'm traveling!!

I love Google Maps. I use it a lot for keeping track of restaurant recs so I don’t forget them…. Then whenever we can’t decide where to go, we can just go to the list and pick a new spot to try!

You can now add tags to your lists too! For example I do lists by city and then you can add a coffee tag, a shopping tag, etc. so useful!!

I use the maps through Google drive so it doesn't cloud up my Google maps I use every day. I save maps per trip, layers per day.

You can also just not have an emoji for the city list. It’ll use the category emoji so you don’t have to save in a specific order

lol it’s so real. People alwayssss ask me for my NYC recommendation - I just share my google map for nyc visit. But it’s sooo useful when I’m planning a vacation.
