BUT... some states have it within the state traffic codes that limit/restrict adding things that detract from the original structural design of the helmets. KY for example doesn't even allow for any kind of decals, appliques or stickers to be added to the helmets.

these are code enforcers enforcing codes statues and policies of being subjected to a fraudulent inducement of administrative contract agreement with the state ie drivers license. These are for companies that operate in commerce👈 No STATE inc. may convert a right into a privilege and charge a license and a fee for it. Fraudulent inducement of contract.
