@mseliaschicgeek: I recently had the opportunity to join AI Insiders with David Berkowitz — a Wagner parent — for a really important conversation about AI, education, and what’s actually happening with students in real classrooms today. As a NYC middle school technology teacher, I shared what I’m seeing firsthand with AI in the classroom and why AI literacy is about so much more than writing prompts. We discussed authenticity, misinformation, scams, trust, and why human oversight matters now more than ever. We also talked about the AI Playbook currently being developed for the New York City Department of Education and why these conversations are becoming increasingly important for educators, parents, business leaders, and marketers alike.
