@primalempress: Replying to @demileeburns (play on x1.5 speed!) Tattle & TikTok are both the same thing so it’s interesting to me that one is more acceptable than the other #tiktokers #tattle #socialmedia #influencer #accountability
Tattle have made a lot of influencers accountable.

Aperol Aimee :
Aimee and vavron absolutely hate seeing any negative comments about them, yet they go out their way to read tattle or Reddit. Vavron puts her vulnerable child all over the internet. Aimee palms her child off to whoever is willing so she can act like a celebrity and stay in spenny hotels and forget she has a child. Aimee spends what could be seen as proceeds of crime money from her “uncles” care homes, like it’s going out of fashion. We know when she has her period and every drop we know when she passes out on the toilet. And don’t forget her part time anxiety. Both her and vav can call us jealous. Jealous of what exactly. We are entitled to an opinion even if we don’t agree with them. They promote any skin care going when in reality don’t use any of it only the expensive stuff. People get blocked for just asking questions. Aimee got asked if she drinks every night yesterday. Clap back incoming to that. Oh and Kerry smith is Aimee’s burner account.

I certain content creator calls them out for trolling, when what the tatterlers are doing is calling them out for their constant fabrications

Critical ≠ bullying/mean. That’s what bothers me about things on TikTok. If you aren’t immediately praising someone and following their narrative, then you’re immediately being a bully and just mean.

Tattle were warning people about Russell brand, Huw Edwards, Phillip Schofield and Conor McGregor years before the press outed them. It's not all bad and no worse than any other platform.

Agree, it is fascinating. I am a silent observer and like you, am interested in both sides. Do you think it will ever be closed, I just don’t see how it could, no different to other platforms like mums net, Reddit etc.

It’s an interesting one. To be honest I’ve only really experienced the negative side. I once posted my opinion which obviously went against the grain and had lots of people thinking I was the influencer on a fake account. I then also got banned, if the comment doesn’t fit the narrative then they don’t want to know. That was me off it!

Tattle exposes influencers for what they are. The bits they hide and don’t want you to know.

The problem “influencers” have is on their own page they can delete opinions and run the narrative. On Tattle they come with receipts and these creators can’t control the narrative you may be a size 10 on here but in Tattle your not just own it 🤷🏻♀️

If a thread is about someone on tattle that is the space to discuss / vent about certain influencers. If they are not bringing it to their TT thread it is not trolling. I find TT far worse with certain influencers regaling in their followers attacking someone for having a difference of opinion. There is a lack of critical thinking with many influencers and their followers. I believe the influencer era is slowly coming to an end.TT is the temu version of QVC

the fact the media won't even do the most basic research before posting what they've been told from influencers who clearly have an agenda just perpetuates this narrative that it's all bad 🙄

demileeburns :
I haven’t seen the other threads but the site was created for the purposes of trolling anonymously - they literally named it after something that means telling someone that someone else has done something with the view of getting them in trouble. I do think influencers or anyone with any kind of status should be held accountable for serious lies/ harmful actions, etc. but the site itself allows and promotes abuse. I signed up and replied to a thread where people were dragging an influencers CHILD for his development, I commented to say how shocked I was that people would post the stuff they did, reported the comments & I was banned for violating their guidelines, the other comments were left up. The same happened to me on the daily mail after responding to racist comments. All social media is harmful, I come off it regularly for weeks/ months at a time which is why I’ve only just seen this video. I also wouldn’t want to be part of a community that’s united in not liking someone or gossiping about people anonymously online. I appreciate this is just my opinion and people are free to do as they like. I try not to judge and empathise instead but it’s hard sometimes. I’d love to see a world where people learned to live without spending countless hours a day staring at a screen

A great perspective. Generally the people claiming these forums are trolling sites are those most heavily criticised and being held accountable. Go figure.

Get Down With The Crumpets :
Tattle is a weird place but influencers absolutely deserve to be called out. Some Tattlers do become obsessed and talk nonsense, I have received warnings on there for defending celebs/influencers but it's about personal responsibility isn't it.

That is interesting. I don’t have an issue with people calling out disingenuous behaviour on tattle, but when people are mean about appearance, partners appearance, and most importantly children I hate it and I think that’s why it’s got a bad reputation

There is a great thread trying to get help for the kids of a certain blogging family, who are fans of cold baths. A lot of people on tattle have a genuine concern for influencers kids

With anything the minute people have anonymity they will take it way too far, I do think some of the threads on there need to be monitored as it's stalking and bullying. I personally find it so bizarre people will hate everything about a particular influencer but will watch their every movement and discuss them in great depth on tattle insane 😂
