I knew one of the kids from Matilda. She said Danny was incredible to work with, patient and so kind, and she ran into him on the street years later, and he invited her to lunch and gave her notes on a project she was directing. Super good guy.

Don’t forget that Mara was scared to film during the scene where Matilda dances after she unlocks her powers so Danny had everyone on set dance with her to make her feel comfortable❤️
