They say that babies can’t process the emotional overload that they feel when they see you so they just start crying. But it’s excitement, relief, knowing the day is over all the things. Not always bad crying. Helped me as a mom when I heard that.

As someone who works in daycare, it is NORMAL for children this age to cry at drop off/pick up! This means they have a good attachment to their parents. They also don’t understand you are going to come back. He’s such a cutie 🥰
