I sent this to my husband. He was working yesterday but is off work today. I woke up to him doing all of this. I’ve not lifted a finger all day. I got breakfast in bed, an everything shower. He’s got laundry going, playing with the kids and I’m tucked away in my cozy chair in our room just reading. Best. Day. Ever!! Thank you so much for posting this!!!

as a mammy of 2 boys who lost there daddy, my mothers day i was woken up to breakfast in bed "an apple, breakfast snack bar, pretend food, 2 cards & the 2 biggest smiles" my mothers day is diff as im in the uk, so mine have past already but I had the best day, cuddles, kisses, tv, playing games with them, when I made there food I got "thank mammy but you need to sit down" there 7 & 8, im so lucky & proud to be there mammy. what you've described is a dream ✨️I love my mothers days 🤍

We go to church in the morning, lunch at my in laws, I leave kids and husband and go home to do whatever I want until they come home in the evening. Clean, sleep, read whatever I want by myself!

My middle son is 20, but when he was 5… I told my kids to be on their best behavior for the whole day because it was Mother’s Day. He said “ Silly, you don’t get the whole day, you just get a card” 😂
