It’s about questioning why society only celebrates certain paths. After high school, I qualified for the Youth Olympic Games. I told myself I would take one gap year for sports… and then start university. But one year turned into another. More competitions came. Bigger goals. Sponsors. The dream of the Olympic Games suddenly became real. And every time I came home, people kept asking: “When are you finally going to study?” “When will you get a real job?” “Why are you always traveling?” The truth is: I didn’t choose the “safe” path. I chose the path that made me feel alive. And this is what I want people to understand: Don’t choose your future based on status, pressure or starting salary. Choose something you genuinely love and where you’re good at. If your dream is becoming a doctor, amazing. If your dream is becoming a teacher, athlete, artist, hairdresser or anything else, amazing too. Because when you truly love what you do, you’ll naturally work harder, become better at it and create your own success. And when you’re good at something, money will follow too. Cause at the end of the day, it’s also about creating a life you actually enjoy living.
