Yes it stops… it wasn’t charging 2 days. BUT… you kept a charging bay occupied for 2 days. So once it stops charging, you stop paying for electricity and start paying for occupying the charger - preventing others from using it.

It stopped charging and they charged you per hour for overstay as there’s usually a maximum time to be in the charge bay to make it fair for everyone.
