I remember being like, geez, they always have a camera! but I'm honestly so greatful as an adult to see them, it truly makes me emotional to be brought back to grandmother and papaw as kids 😪

We are currently in the middle of navigating and negotiating buying the family farmhouse. A 100 year old house, pack house on 2 acres- surrounded by 90 acres of original family farmland. We can’t affford to purchase the whole farm, but my husbands father inherits 22acres. My husband is the only male heir passing on his family name. It’s so important to him to preserve this legacy- which makes this important to me. Imagine every single update a house that age would need…down to reenforcing the foundation, all plumbing being replaced & a really bad 60s bathroom remodel that, I fear, is a Pandora’s box. Im just going to pretend you’re holding my hand and I’m gonna listen to what you have to say…because I don’t feel nearly grown up enough to do this, and fairly, to look out for my family while navigating purchasing from …family
