I did this lol. Used 6061 aluminum for the body then for the “pin” itself used steel. Machined both individually then pressed the steel pin in. Works like a charm and don’t have to worry about bending!

ripped off 90% of the aluminium round bar, shouldve used a steel pin seated in an aluminium hollow tube, aluminium would fatigue so quickly
