I went through this realization back in 2014 after Trayvon Martin. I could not believe the outcome of that case, then did a whole deep dive and deconstruction of everything I believed to be true. I worked and continue to work on my beliefs, opinions, and thoughts that contribute to the problem. I talk to people and have learned to be much more empathetic about others circumstances without judgment. I am so grateful that I woke up.

Part of the problem is social media reinforces that bubble. Because no matter what platform you're on there's an algorithm that you built piece by piece and it only shows you what you yourself programed it for and that is what you think the world looks like.
