ALSO the last part translates to preparing for middle school big time. As a middle school counselor… first question to students- did you tell the other student to stop/you don’t like what they are doing/saying? Usually no. Then, did you tell the adult in the room at the time? Also no. It’s so important for them to learn to give the other person the opportunity to fix it. If you’ve done that and they still haven’t stopped then yes please come see me or a principal and let us intervene!

Would love a video on what to do when they don’t listen. I have the most stubborn five year-old that does not care about anything. 😵💫 I also have a nine-year-old. They’re both great kids and I hear what I’m dealing withIs pretty normal but my youngest is a little tornado.

I needed you when my older boys were younger. They are 11&12 now and I did notttt know how to handle it when they were small. Which the still wrestle but now they are SO MUCH BIGGER. I have a two yr old boy and pregnant with another boy so I’m thankful for this advice

I had 3 boys in a row, first two were two years apart, then two and 3 were 3 years apart. These were pretty much our “combatives time” rules. They’re all teens now, 19,17, almost 14. Now the “scary” part to me is when they have all this BASS in their voices, and it makes me think it’s way more escalated than it is.
