@kellystonejohnson: Boyd had a headache today. 💚 When we were leaving the clinic, the technician told me to make sure Boyd took it easy today because he was showing signs of a bad headache on the monitor during therapy. I asked him how he could tell and he said he could see it on the screen. Once we got in the car and got on the road, Boyd started whining a little and squeezing his head really hard. He kept leaning up to my seat, grabbing me, and pulling my hand to his head over and over. That was his way of telling me his head hurt. Seeing him grab my hand and pull it to his head over and over was like a knife being stabbed into my heart each time because I knew exactly what he was trying to say without words. I wish I could crawl inside his little body sometimes and know exactly what he is feeling and how bad it hurts. 💚 So I put his BrainTap headphones on him and turned on a little Mozart to help calm him down some. After about 10 minutes of whining and holding his head, he finally leaned back, closed his eyes, listened to his Mozart… and fell sound asleep. 💚 So tonight we are taking it easy, lots of cuddles, tv, quiet time, water, and rest…. And maybe a snack or two! 💚 We knew headaches could be a side effect of the biofeedback and neurofeedback therapy.
