I think a lot of damage has already been done, and realistically it will take years of hard work in therapy to get to a good place — and that’s aside from the fact that he’s a teen boy living in 2026 in what seems like a poor area. This story may not end well. But hopefully he’s safe now and can get help.

I think the next few weeks are going to be the most stressful of his young life so far waiting for the results of the DNA test. Hunter's going to understand one day that where he is now is the most healthy & supportive environment for him to he when that news comes in. No matter what the determination bc the finality of established fatherhood is a lot of weight for a kid to carry. There are so many factors at play with Bella & Hunter both, the whole situation is mind-blowing

Going pro is difficult and having a child will possibly make colleges pass on him to gain the experience needed.

So I know some long time CPS caseworkers. They said the typical age of change was around 12. If CPS could get the kids out of that bad environment before 12, they had a good chance of learning how to lead a better life. They said 9 times out of 10, kids that were 12 and older would have difficulty assimilating into their new environment and when they turned 18, the majority went back to be with their abusive/neglectful families
