@mtspringhomestead: Week 5 Cornish Cross Update | Growing FAST on Pasture We are officially into week 5 of our Cornish Cross grow-out series and these birds are growing FAST. At this stage they start hitting that “ugly teenager” phase where their bodies are growing quicker than their feathers can keep up. They’re out on pasture full time now, moving to fresh grass daily in our Joel Salatin-style chicken tractors, and eating a whole lot of feed along the way.
