Got 1 last year lined up directly across from dryer vent location……the vent tears before the magnet connection release when removing dryer

I am actually quite surprised that people are still mucking around with their dryer vents. Heat pump dryers have been around for over decade. They are way more energy energy efficient and require no ventilation.

That’s a great idea. Wish there was a better solution to attach the vent to the dryer outlet. Clamps aren’t very good and neither is taping it.

So my dryer is in the basement. And the exhaust tube needs to go up into the ceiling.
