Capital is meant to be more arduous and talk about complex economics, try “Wage Labor and Capital” first, it’s an easier book.

I'm so serious to anyone struggling - you should check out a reading group!! it's a meme that Marxists always form 10,000 reading groups but this is the specific reason!! no one can do everything alone, studying together can help reinforce the information and make things easier to understand. also check out the audiobook channel Socialism for All on YouTube! he's recorded all of Capital Vol 1 with commentary to make it easier to understand

You can combine reading it with another book called A short course of economic science by Alexander bogdanov. It is helpful but not everything the author writes is correct

An actual thing for anyone out there, capital is very important its an economic piece but the idea behind it even if you dont understand the math is supposed to paint a picture of exploitation. Think of the economics more as telling the story of how the exploitation is contradictory only for profit. Marxs prose in between those moments can make the conditions and struggle blatant
