I think sometimes people frame planning as a lack of trust in God, but Scripture actually speaks a lot about wisdom and stewardship too. Proverbs 21:5 says “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance,” and Luke 14:28 talks about counting the cost before building. Trusting God and using discernment aren’t opposites. I think you can fully trust God and still prayerfully decide your family is complete unless He personally places a conviction for more on your heart. And honestly, God also gives us desires, discernment and different callings 🩵

Amen! This is my testimony too. I just had our 7th baby. Our oldest is 12 and I am 32. We also do foster care. Once God called us to foster care it was like why should we control our biological babies when God is already planning our foster/adoption journey for us? And he has provided so much! The 12 passenger van, the 4500sqft house that we should have never been able to afford, the pay raises, everything we need. ❤️
