I, too,waited and waited hoping momentum would eventually build... But it was SLOW progress! When I decided I was sick of waiting and started being proactive, that's when things changed for me. I wasn't a marketer but I decided I needed to know how to market myself if I ever wanted to stand out amongst the hundreds of other sitters in my area. So I sat down and spent hours drafting a sitter profile which quite frankly ending up selling itself! (Or myself, I should say...) It took a while from researching what should go in there to taking out all the fluff. Finally, I was happy, and low and behold, booking requests swiftly followed. I'm amazed that's all it took! However, most sitters throw together a profile in 5-10 minutes because they don't know any other way to do it. No one has shown you. But I'm sharing what dog owners actually WANT to see in a sitter profile. What grabs their attention and makes them actually notice you. These are the profiles that actually get booked!
