in canada with solid conductors they must be pre twisted before putting on marretts (wire nuts) or else its a code violation. stranded your good though

We have these in New Zealand. Same thing just waterproof for use in enclosures outside etc. Handy for outdoor lighting

Always pre twist. The wire nut is not made to make the joint, it is an insulator for the joint.

I'm in America, I use wago for everything.... It's especially good on low voltage control wire. No more untwisting to trace control voltage. I have never seen an electrician or anyone other than me using wagos

Wirenut > Wago , less heat developed if you make several splices in series on same current with IR Cam. Also better outdoors if you insall vertical even when you donybuy weather proof ones

if it's stranded wire you don't need to pre twist, and they make many sizes depending on wire size and number of wires. pretty much all we use in Canada
