Yep I removed myself from my husbands ENTIRE family 10 years ago. The first 10 of our marriage I tried so hard, but they talked so much crap behind my back. So no contact! Protecting my peace.

I did the same thing with my mil, I bit my tongue and finally during my second pregnancy I snapped, no more miss nice girl. I told my husband he supported me and his kids in this or we were gone. I didn't want too but it was the best thing I did for my family. our lives improved and actually my mil calmed down eventually and then actually became an active part of our lives minus the control. stand your ground girl, it's worth it in the end ❤️
