@ww2recon: The DD (Duplex Drive) Sherman was one of the most remarkable and daring innovations of the Second World War. Developed as part of Major General Percy Hobart's famous "Funnies," the DD Sherman was a standard M4 Sherman fitted with a collapsible canvas flotation screen and twin propellers driven off the tank's main engine.
