I’ve forgotten more than I could possibly remember. There are things that are important to me that I cannot remember anymore, and those things don’t have photos. I remember almost nothing from my childhood. I was born in 1985. So do I not remember because of “all the photos”? No. I’ve never been a big picture taker. Wasn’t until I got into dogs. If it were not for all those photos I wouldn’t be able to remember the moments that lead to them. Those photos are integral to connecting to the feelings you say we lose.

That’s what happens to people who doom scroll. That’s why you can’t remember what you’ve seen 3 videos up. It’s ruining peoples memory quite badly.

Interesting! I always felt this way but I didn’t know it was factual. I will try to be more present from now on 😊 I do wish more people would take candid photos of each other…for future memories
