I've played 2,3 and 4,I would say the third one is the scariest for me , because the other world is reddish orange , compared to 2,it has a different color to it,the third game gets more scary when nothing happens when I'm in the other world,feel like the games watching me ,the second game gave me the same vibe but not too much like the third

There's something about 3's horror in particular that is just so awesome, it's the least scariest game of the original 4 but it has the best atmosphere and environment imo. The subway and otherworld hospital in particular go crazy
