Not sure if this will help a ton but using the Scene points card at FreshCo and at Shell gas stations (not sure if you have a car) can help you get some cash back. I’ve found it to help me quite a bit

I’ve really had to adjust what I buy to what’s on sale. If romaine is 6.99 well I buy what’s on sale instead. Coleslaw $6.79 for a bag, well I’m not making coleslaw then. I pretty much plan my meals around what’s on sale. Prices are ridiculous, I’m based in Toronto.
