if you ever wanted to get into it id personally recommend starting off with a lyre and progressing into bigger and bigger harps! like lyre -> lap harp -> lever harp -> pedal harp. lyres are like? £50 i think and very easily accessible so it wont break the bank and you’d learn basics before graduating to a bigger one! if you wanna pursue it then do it! the time will pass anyways and we need more harp players in the world!

I play harp and it’s really easy, if you play piano it will be easy because the notes are the same. But also make sure ur ready for the tuning once every week or two, back hurting, fingers hurting, confusion on strings, AND finger positioning 😭

It’s never too late to start! I’m 38, and I started two years ago at the conservatory. It all depends on where you live, but where I am, harps are available at the conservatory, and you can also rent instruments to keep at home. The cost of lessons depends on your income. I hope you make your dreams come true.♥️🪉

my deepest regret was choosing violin, i love the violin, its majestic and sounds beautiful, but it will never compare to how seraphic the harp is, i wish to play harp, i dont think id ever drop it like i did with violin, its elegance is unrivalled
