being a kpop idol. it was my dream since I was so young I idolized and admired every kpop idol and dreamt that I will become like them in the future too. at a young age, I started focusing on my looks and talents. one meal method just to get skinnier. bough skin care just to avoid pimples and acnes. I did everything. I tell my friends about that dream. they’re answers are always like “cool! you fit it“ “nice good luck!“ but never “have you taken care of yourself though?“ “are you well?“. this dream was everything to me—my health used to be my everything too. if little me who hasn’t found out about kpop yet saw me now, she would’ve admire me so much but would still ask me, “you are so much organized. do you still eat and enjoy junky foods without looking at the calories and fat?“ I just know I can never bring myself to answer that question. I wanted to be a kpop idol, yes. but I also miss my true self. who just loves junky foods and enjoys life without caring for what I look or what people thinks. I wanna be the free me.
