Idk if I am late to the party but I am so freaking related to what you were sayin. I start noticing this when we approached to Nod Krai with Nefer and Flins lol. Why do I need to pull for another limited 5 star support on the banner for my DPS? Now with Sandrone release and new elemental reaction, I fear they want us to pull a freaking 5-star limited team or sth. This is so not it😭😭😭😭😭

And then even Lohen is not good sorry. Yeah his base strength with Nicole and Durin is good but his cons are sumeru level😭 Him being standard would make him a good standard. Now hes a horrible limited

Lohen would’ve been GREAT as a standard. I thought I finally had breathing room because a new standard adds an extra spice, especially when it’s a new nice design and a slightly unique kit. The bar for genshin is in SUPERHELL. This game doesn’t respect its playerbase and it’s hindering people’s enjoyment and opinions on this game.

Not even talking about cutting out event weapons for skins 😩 the greed has reached a new level with genshin, HSR and ZZZ actually gives out good reward and characters on occasions while genshin just shits itself every patch

We should have standards of every element and a standard from each region imo. They should be putting older units on standard instead of making us pull on a throw away mishmash banner for characters who aren't even close to meta anymore 😭 I'm still hoping these character buffs make some more older characters slightly relevant tho.

my thing when people bring the whole hoyoverse generous thing im always like they already do it!!! in hsr people even have a free character schedule because of how often it's done!!! like why is that as genshin players we must always be happy for scraps and bare bones!😭

Tinfoil hat on: I believe the genshin team is purposefully setting certain characters codes to be the same as those as the same as a character on standard, to make ppl not trust leaks as much. They may be suing them on occasion, but they could be doing this as a form of propaganda against leakers. Bec this has happened multiple times, with a lot of units. Besides gameplay leakers, we do have those that be looking at stuff they aint supposed to.

Wrong. It’s not a Hoyoverse problem. It’s specifically Genshin not giving out good free characters. HSR has been given out 4 limited characters in the past year at the very least.

No shade, but why is it so hard for Genshin Impact players to see that they’re basically cash cows? The devs don’t care about your opinions the way y’all think they do. They’re going to keep pushing people to spend money, and that money is funding Zenless Zone Zero, Honkai: Star Rail, and the other games they’ve got in development. That’s the part people aren’t seeing — they’re working on multiple projects, so of course they’re trying to squeeze every dollar they can out of the playerbase. So what’s the easiest way to keep players spending and staying active? Simple: give fewer rewards. That forces people to grind events, story quests, and exploration longer just to scrape together pulls, which keeps engagement high and profits rolling in. Meanwhile, while y’all are crying over 60 pulls, I’m over here enjoying Wuthering Waves with my F2P experience and waiting for Neverness to Everness with its no-50/50 gacha system. Play a gacha game that actually cares.

I'm so tired of the Metaslaves in general. Anytime a new character comes out it's "don't pull for so and so you're account will be bricked" or whatever like shut upppppp. It's a game it's not that serious pull for whoever you want don't let someone persuade you NOT to pull for a character you like
