why take over his room in the first place? he’s not completely moved out, he’s just in school. which means he still comes home. my parents would have never touched my room while i was in school and still living at home.

I really love all the people who think you should leave a perfectly good space completely unused for the majority of the year so her late teen/early 20’s son can have exactly what he wants for the couple months he is home. Let’s be so for real. He is going to be gone camping, road tripping, or hopefully working most of that time. Let mom have her gym finally. He will be just fine on a Murphy bed.
