that's crazy, I do a count down until my appointment because I'm usually so excited. now, I have been late before but I also drive an hour and a half out to my artist and traffic be crazy sometimes and I be panicking the whole way 😭

My dad had just died, I wasn’t able to get any while he was alive so all I could think was “I can actually get a tattoo now” and I saw it was a free thing on fb and I claimed a spot, then I really got to thinking and went looking in search of examples of the artists work. I expected them to be an apprentice for it being a tip only tattoo, but once I saw their linework, I just couldn’t go ahead and do it. I also hate confrontation (I’m in therapy now) and couldn’t bring up my concerns with her because I couldn’t handle the possibility of upsetting her. But if you want the truth, I have a lot of mental and physical health struggles and the chances of me not showing up to any appointment is there. The guilt though sends me into shame spirals (love OCD). I don’t have any tattoos, so that was the only time I’ve even tried.
