@worldofmark: Flying a Kodiak 900 through the most restricted airspace in the world. This flight is likely the #1 of my life (and definitely top 5). Two years ago, I was invited to join a very small group of pilots flying over the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Aviation’s anniversary. It took over a year of planning and approval from nine different federal agencies just to prove I was safe enough to do it. The flight itself was unforgettable… but the best part? At the last minute, I was able to bring my wife Ashley and our one-year-old son Beau along with me.
