@mukololo.ravele: Dimbanyika is regarded as the first king of the Vhavenda people south of the Limpopo, ruling from roughly 1688 until 1722. As a leader of the Singo clan, he unified various groups—including the Vhangona, Vhalembethu, and Vhatavhatsindi—into a single Venda nation, establishing his capital at Dzata I on Mount Lwandali. Dimbanyika meaning 'he who refused to be the ruler of the land', the first king of the Vhavenda people south of the Limpopo River, was buried in a sacred cave on Mount Lwandali (also known as Tshiendeulu) in the Nzhelele area, Limpopo. According to oral tradition, Dimbanyika went out hunting and did not return. He was later found inside a cave, which was sealed by huge rocks, and he told his people the cave would be his resting place. The sacred grave is, according to tradition, tended to by the Netshiendeulu family. He is considered the founder of the Vhavenda political structure, which transitioned from scattered clans to a centralized kingdom. His name is synonymous with the unification of the Venda people. Khuthadzo Muenda.(KKC) :
he vhanna, Dimbanyika was not the first King, he was army general of Dzi Ndou clan Kingdom in Phawe, so he was the general who installed as regent after the death of Ndou King. that is why after that he named himself Singo la Dzi Ndou clan

That name has a different meaning in Chikaranga or Shona of today; Nyika is a country, or land. The word *dimba* is a noun and *timba* is a verb, this has two meanings:1)tilling the land with a hoe or it means walking. One could say * ndakatimba netsoka kuenda kuchikoro*, meaning I walked on foot to school. So the one that did the walking is a dimbanyika or one tills the land.
So, its a case of word in chiVenda or chiKaranga having different meanings

Shiyadenga is the last king of Vhavenda. Dambanyika left the central after fights for the throne, hence the name Dambanyika, (He who renounced his throne/inheritance). well according to my research with multiple sources, some of them peer reviewed.

This timeline is convenient to make sure that Vhevenda and Van Reeback arrive almost at the sametime, Vhavenda re people of the Vhembe river both sides since before 10th Century, even during the Mhunumutapa erar Vhavenda were there, their ruins predates the dates being thrown around

The dates don't make sense. Let me tell why...if Makhado ruled from the mid 1800s, his father definitely rules from the early 1700s since he lived a long life. His grandfather Mpofu must have ruled from the late 1600s to early 1700s. His great grandfather Ṱhohoyandou definitely ruled in the early to mid 1600. Then finally his great great grandfather King Dimbanyika the great probably ruled in the late 1500s to early 1600s. See why I say these dates can't make much sense...our kingdom is much more ancient than they claim.
