@madmedicine: Recently, there has been a lot of discourse around the vitamin K shot. Many people have decided to put the health of their newborn babies into the influencers instead of listening to actual trained doctors. Now, we’re starting to see the outcomes and unfortunately, they are sad. The vitamin K shot is essential for a newborn baby and by depriving a newborn baby of it, you are putting them at risk of dying. I don’t blame the parents at all; I blame the influencers and politicians who feel they have a right to mislead innocent people. If you have a child or about to have a child, talk to your doctors.
