Josh’s daughter here! i think he’s looking for Sara’s herd, i know it sounds sad but it’s pretty common. if you feel comfortable walking him, i’d recommend maybe walking him and the other down that slope and allow him to see, his herd isn’t there. in their minds, distance and time don’t really cross over, so that trailer ride “felt” long but to them they think they’re just down the road. i’d also say it seems like Murray could possibly be wanting the track system like Sara had, if he’s been in a habit of walking the property constantly, and now he only has the pasture to walk(and that’s okay, the amount of space you have is perfect. he just needs to get comfortable). try also changing that space up! if you can get the hose to reach there, move your water into that area, create an object to kinda change his brain flow in those moments, if that makes sense. now that area means water, not just pacing. if your hose doesn’t reach, i’d recommend hanging a jolly ball, haybag, ect. literally anything to give that space new energy.
