Apparently that “fake A vents” are designed to have more efficient air flow without creating a disruption on having the blower uses for power to produce negative pressure in that area? I have found a similar situation where the vehicle is called mitsubishi montero/pajero sport 2021 and up. Their ac vents on the middle and bottom of it is blocked out to help air flow way better

The interior looks like it's ripped straight from the ford.Escape, which i'm guessing the transit connect is based off of so the transit connect is an even larger Ford Focus lol
