Lately, my life has been feeling like an endless routine built around TikTok and FC Mobile. Every single day follows almost the exact same pattern. I wake up, go to school, come back home tired, and instead of doing something productive or even resting properly, I immediately open TikTok or FC Mobile. What starts as ‘just a few minutes’ quickly turns into hours without me even realizing it. TikTok became the place where I escape reality for a while. I scroll through videos nonstop, laughing, watching trends, football edits, gaming clips, and random content for hours. The craziest part is that time moves so fast on TikTok. I can sit there for what feels like 10 minutes, then suddenly notice it’s already late at night. Then there’s FC Mobile. That game became more than just a game for me. It’s competition, entertainment, stress, excitement, and sometimes even my daily mood. I spend so much time building my team, grinding events, opening packs, trying to improve my players, and competing against others. Sometimes I win and feel proud, other times I lose and get frustrated, but no matter what happens, I still go back to the game every day. The problem is that both TikTok and FC Mobile take most of my time. After school, instead of focusing on my future, learning new things, or even getting enough rest, I spend hours on my phone. Then night comes, and I tell myself I should sleep early, but I still keep scrolling or playing ‘one more match.’ Before I know it, I’m sleeping very late, waking up tired, and repeating the exact same cycle again the next day. Sometimes I feel like my phone controls my daily life more than I control it. My routine became: school, TikTok, FC Mobile, late sleep, repeat. Day after day. It’s not even that I completely hate it because honestly those apps make me feel entertained and less bored, but at the same time, I know I’m spending too much of my life on them. FC Mobile gives me the feeling of achievement because I can improve my squad and compete against other players. TikTok keeps my brain entertained nonstop because there’s always something new to watch. Together, they became the biggest part of my free time. But the more time I spend on them, the more I realize how fast days, weeks, and even months are passing. Sometimes I sit and think about how many hours I’ve spent scrolling on TikTok or grinding on FC Mobile instead of sleeping properly, improving myself, or focusing on bigger goals in life. Yet even after realizing that, I still end up going back to the same routine every day because it became a habit. It’s like living between entertainment and addiction at the same time. On one side, these apps make me happy and help me escape stress. On the other side, they consume so much of my time that I barely notice how repetitive my life has become. Every day feels connected to a screen, and sometimes I wonder how different my life would feel if I could balance everything better.
