Cheetahs are also not considered big cats (they’re not in the genus Panthera). They’re the biggest small cats and they are absolutely precious

Apparently Cheetahs have the temperament to be domesticated but then I remember that my 10lb orange cat can give me a pretty good scratch while playing on accident.

One time I was losing my mind at my therapist office, I was having a terrible time and my therapist just paused and went “did you know Cheetahs can purr?” And I immediately was so thrown off that I was like “really?” And she was like “yeah!” And pulled up a YouTube video showing me purring Cheetahs and i didn’t stop crying but at least I wasn’t hyperventilating I was just happy cheetahs can purr.
