@dogdaysofhtx: Mamali was on today’s euthanasia list and with just a few hours before close I knew things looked grim. I’m not sure how she ended up in the shelter. And I’m not sure how many times she’s been outside. But I wanted to make sure she knew someone loved her before the end. I post this to show the reality of shelters. Mamali was a young dog that was failed from the second she was born. In a world full of backyard breeders, owners who give up the second it gets hard, and constant “accidental” litters due to not spay and neutering, choose to save a life like Mamali’s.
