It definitely helps with consistency over longevity of a project. I’ve ran it every five and I have had zero tolerance issues as opposed to my other H series one that I haven’t done and it seems like every 20 or 30 Prints has a tolerance issue but on the other one that I have been running it consistently it has had zero tolerance issues.

Funny I’ve never heard him say you need to buy anything. Or you need to recalibrate every 5 prints. Just he recommends the plate and that’s what he does. If you’re gonna throw him under the bus at least be truthful 😂

I get having a difference in opinion but to call someone names and degrade an opinion isn’t the way. It’s an opinion it can’t be wrong.

I wonder if the shrinkage of PETG had an effect here with how small they are. The typical PETG shrinkage is 0.3%-0.8%. Likely less around 0.2% for the GF filament. That would line up with it being 199.6x instead of 200.

if you run the encoder again right after it finishes. it will still say its off. I have used it once and never did it again. totally not worth the money

And If its such a needed build plate to keep your printer accurate especially if its for calibration, How come it doesn't come with the bambu printer you think it would right ? my H2C didn't have one 🤔

those digital calipers simply arnt going to be that accurate so the difference is negligible unless you are using a super expensive calibrated one.

You measured it wrong with the calliper. the tip would have been spot on. And PLA CF is crap

Some of that is belt stretching I’m sure, but realistically I don’t think it would show up much except on really large, precise holes and such.

this calibration ment to be done every 6 month of use. or after 1000h print later. also you need to calibrate the plastic as well. the dot it appear on screen are not the actual thing.
